This cute Western Meadowlark is soft and fuzzy -- and it sings! It is the state bird of Montana, Kansas, Oregon, Wyoming, Nebraska and North Dakota.

Western Meadowlarks are often found in fields, meadows and prairies. They have a flutelike song. Meadowlarks have round-bodies, sharp, long bills, and yellow breasts with a black band. They eat insects, seeds and grain. Females weave dome-shaped nests of grasses that are hidden in tall grass.

The lifelike design and detailing is the result of input from the National Audubon Society. The authentic bird song is from the world famous Cornell Lab of Ornithology.

This 5" plush toy complies with the Standard Consumers Safety Specifications on toy safety issued by the ASTM. All new materials; hand crafted; non-toxic; surface washable.
