This cute House Sparrow is soft and fuzzy -- and it sings! These non-native sparrows are found across the United States and Canada in cities and rural areas. Their noisy "cheep cheep" song can be heard as they hop around the ground. House sparrows will come to feeders for seeds, but also eat a variety of insects. They make their nests in signs, bird boxes, under the eaves of buildings and even in the abandoned nests of other birds.
The lifelike design and detailing is the result of input from the National Audubon Society. The authentic bird song is from the world famous Cornell Lab of Ornithology.
